More than 100 people attended the event organized by the Folklore Association.
The moonlight may have disappeared, but it revealed people’s need for events like these, as well as for the Museum.
More than 100 people attended the event organized yesterday by the Folklore Association of Palaiochori, and many stayed afterward at the village cafés and enjoyed the local meze.
Two families came specifically to visit Palaiochori, one from Mytilene and one from Mesagros.
Many added a visit to the museum and the event to their vacation plans.
Families came with babies, lots of little children, teenagers, middle-aged people, and elderly people.
We had visitors from Mytilene, Mesagros, Plomari, Antissa, Athens, Doxato in Drama, Munich, Vienna, and Australia.
Everyone left delighted by the museum exhibits, the event about the lunar eclipse, and the hospitality of the village.
