The moonlight may have disappeared, but it revealed people\u2019s need for events like these, as well as for the Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 100 people attended the event organized yesterday by the Folklore Association of Palaiochori, and many stayed afterward at the village caf\u00e9s and enjoyed the local meze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two families came specifically to visit Palaiochori, one from Mytilene and one from Mesagros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many added a visit to the museum and the event to their vacation plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families came with babies, lots of little children, teenagers, middle-aged people, and elderly people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had visitors from Mytilene, Mesagros, Plomari, Antissa, Athens, Doxato in Drama, Munich, Vienna, and Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone left delighted by the museum exhibits, the event about the lunar eclipse, and the hospitality of the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
